Job Overview

The Industrial Automation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of a production facility, including but not limited to facility and plant production equipment. This role requires adhering to all plant and OSHA safety procedures and rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service systems including safety and energy delivery (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).
  • Install and service communication and process control systems.
  • Consult technical documentation, drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Establish process control strategies and configure related systems such as HMI (Human Machine Interface).
  • Schedule maintenance and the commissioning of new and existing systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment that is in our scheduled program.
  • Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and possible fluid connections.
  • Work with production personnel to troubleshoot all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues that affect production.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors and third parties when troubleshooting.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with at least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, PLC troubleshooting, and process control systems. Additional requirements include:

  • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial mechanics.
  • Light welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
  • Millwright experience is preferred.
