Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems.
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including performing maintenance inspections and repairs, and coordinating with other teams as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction.
  • Rehabilitation and renovation experience.
  • Pool maintenance and repair experience.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
