Job Summary:

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager - Land Development to join our Land Development Group in Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop project plans using relevant software and technology.
  • Perform calculations and problem-solving using engineering formulas and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Prepare specifications and materials for projects, including research and procurement.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and internal design teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia or other states where Timmons Group operates.
  • 6-10 years of experience in civil engineering related to land development or infrastructure markets.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and ability to manage schedules and budgets.
  • Proven experience in client management, relationships, and contract acquisition.
  • Experience in marketing and supervision of technical work.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, including Civil 3D, and office support software.
