About the Role:
Dana Safety Supply is seeking a skilled Emergency Vehicle Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Emergency Vehicle Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including lights, sirens, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, windshield & side glass, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, test, and remove 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment
- Work on police, public safety, and other vehicles for local and federal accounts
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective installation processes
- Perform physical tasks that may require accessing confined spaces to modify vehicles to client requirements
- Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle installation or a related field
- Knowledge of vehicle wiring and electrical circuits
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Experience with installation of emergency lighting is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
