Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for our OB/GYN Hospitalist position at Watsonville Community Hospital. This role requires a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible physician with excellent communication skills and experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based Obstetric and Gynecologic care for patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.
- Work collaboratively with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine Physicians in Labor and Delivery.
- Offer timely consultations in the Emergency Department.
- Act as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents rotating in the department.
- Participate in quality improvement committees and hospital governance.
- Maintain current knowledge of professional development and practices through continuing education programs.
- Meet California licensure requirements and maintain a valid driver's license.
- A valid California OB/GYN Physician's and Surgeon's license.
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
- The ability to obtain and maintain hospital admitting privileges at Watsonville Community Hospital.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $308,944.06 and $341,120.00, depending on experience. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k), as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
