Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in the healthcare team, working closely with physicians and nurses to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of respiratory diseases and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Active RRT certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
