Early Childhood Education Leader

Key Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Education Leader, you will be responsible for planning and presenting age-appropriate activities for children, as well as helping other staff to build their curriculum for their rooms. You will also assist in reviewing curriculum and planning curriculum trainings to ensure it meets the standards for each classroom.
Essential Duties
Develop and implement curriculum to meet developmental standards
Review and revise classroom curriculum as needed
Collaborate with staff to build their curriculum and provide training and support
Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
Assist students in preparing for Kindergarten by helping them meet and master developmental goals
Requirements
Must be at least 20 years of age
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Must be reliable and flexible, with transportation
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children and families
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clean and organized
Nice to Have
Head teacher certificate, CDA (Child Development Associate) certification, or 12 credits in early childhood/child development, along with 9 months of experience (1080 hours of time worked) preferred
