The Cliffs Hotel & Spa is seeking a highly motivated and friendly part-time Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a luxurious dining experience for our guests.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Take food and beverage orders and serve guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure the quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation, and temperature of food served to guests
  • Employ selling skills to suggest food and beverage items
  • Communicate pleasantly and courteously with guests, management, and coworkers
  • Meet time standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace


Requirements:



  • 2-3 years of restaurant experience in serving
  • Customer service experience
  • Energetic, friendly, positive, and reliable
  • Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours)
  • Ability to lift trays and packages (40 pounds)
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification
  • Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to work with people effectively
  • Ability to multitask and work in mentally demanding situations
