LPN/Charge Nurse Job Description

Vitality Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/Charge Nurse to join our team at Landmark Lifestyles at Ridgeland. As a vital member of our care team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies, maintaining accurate records and following protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and revise service plans, incorporating resident needs and preferences, and collaborating with the Wellness Director to ensure successful implementation.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Wellness Director, contributing to the overall success of our care team.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid LPN/LVN license.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet state or provincial health-related requirements and maintain current professional certifications, including CPR.
  • Other certifications may be required, depending on state or provincial regulations.
