Seeking Experienced CT Technologist for Travel Assignment

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Tyler, Texas. This role involves performing a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using cutting-edge CT equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in CT, be comfortable working in the ER, and possess the necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced imaging/diagnostic procedures using CT equipment
  • Demonstrate competency in starting and maintaining IV access with pressurized injection equipment
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and manage any contraindications
  • Assist radiologists in invasive procedures and biopsies, ensuring precision in anatomical locations
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards
  • Accurately code and enter charges for procedures
  • Adapt patient care methods to accommodate each patient's unique needs, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental factors
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Texas MRT Licensure
  • ARRT (R)(CT) certification
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission
