About the Role

The Bagger is a vital member of our store team, responsible for ensuring that every customer's purchase is packaged safely and efficiently for transportation. This role requires a high level of customer service skills, as Baggers must respond to customer complaints with empathy and concern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring absolute satisfaction with every interaction
  • Learn and utilize the GUEST program to provide personalized service
  • Greet customers warmly, using a friendly and sincere demeanor
  • Engage customers in conversation, showing genuine interest in their purchases
  • Thank customers for their business, maintaining a positive and respectful tone
  • Pack customer purchases with care, ensuring they are organized and secure
  • Keep the work station and surrounding area clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot, removing debris and ensuring they are ready for use
  • Perform assigned tasks, following all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, serving as a safety role model for colleagues

  • Customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to every customer
  • Honesty and integrity, with a strong commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
  • Ability to multitask, handling multiple responsibilities with ease and efficiency
  • High energy level, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs

Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to handle and feel objects. The ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds is also required, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced, with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
