Job Overview

WGJF Manufacturing Corp dba Hammer Mfg. Co is a leading global supplier of custom short run metal stampings for the military, aerospace, and commercial industries.

We are seeking an experienced power press set up technician to join our manufacturing facility in Linden, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions to complete machine set up and part manufacturing tasks.
  • Set up, install tools, adjust, and operate C-Frame 15-60 ton power presses to perform stamping operations on metal parts.
  • Supervise and direct activities of press operators.
  • Maintain production quality and interface with quality assurance teams.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safety glasses.
Requirements
  • Experience in metal stamping and manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Knowledge of basic machine tools, including punch press, roller flattener, and press brake.
  • Ability to set up, operate, and maintain precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc).

The estimated annual salary for this position is $41,600 - $53,760 based on an 8 hour shift, 40 hour workweek, and hourly rate of $20.00 - $26.00.
