Key Responsibilities- Retrieve customer orders from designated warehouse locations and prepare them for dispatch.
- Engage in repetitive assembly tasks to manufacture packaged soft vinyl/jar bait.
- Ensure that production lines operate smoothly and maintain high-quality standards for packaged baits.
- Count and position soft bait onto production lines or into consumer packaging, checking for visible defects, and placing completed packages into bulk containers.
- Adapt to various workstations as needed.
- Perform light lifting tasks, with a maximum weight of 25 lbs.
- Must possess normal color vision.
- Follow detailed written or verbal instructions accurately.
- Manage spools for continuous operation across all work cells.
- Load spools onto conveyors in all work areas.
- Set meters for accurate yardage.
- Adjust tensions and level winds in all production cells.
- Utilize labelers effectively.
- Program orders for printing and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare orders for shipment to distribution centers.
- Demonstrated reliable work history.
- Positive attitude and strong attendance record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of 2 months of relevant experience.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform addition and subtraction with three-digit numbers, as well as multiplication and division.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in calculations involving weight measurements.
- Physical Requirements: Capability to lift up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply written and oral instructions, and to address issues involving a few variables in standardized scenarios.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
