  • Ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Participate in moving and delivery of equipment/supplies while ensuring employee safety.
  • Enter work performed in database for monthly reporting.
  • Respond to facility needs and requests from staff.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ability to interact courteously with supervisors, employees, volunteers, and the general public.

- Knowledge of modern janitorial methods, safety practices, and materials/equipment.

- Strong sense of caring for animals.

- Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting preferred.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Requirements:

One year of previous experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work in all weather conditions and around companion animals.

Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record.

Respect for animals and belief in The Anti-Cruelty Society mission.
