About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Outpatient Imaging. As a Mammography Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to capture high-quality images.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Explain procedures and educate patients on the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
  • Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and film storage.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist licensure from the Florida Department of Health (or equivalent in Georgia).
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure (with Mammography registry preferred).
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
