Software Development Assistant

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and graphs), PowerPoint, and Word.

Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must.

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.

Self-starter who takes initiative and drives tasks to completion, asking for and offering help when needed.

Ability to learn JIRA, Confluence, and/or SharePoint.

Desired Skills

Familiar with RMF security practices.

Knowledge of or coursework in Visual Basic (VBA), Groovy, Java, or software programming.

Familiar with Agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—capable of communication through presentations, meetings, and technical documents.

Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight and prompting.
