Job Title: Developmental Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and experienced Developmental Support Worker to join our team at the Giant Steps Center LLC. As a Developmental Support Worker, you will work closely with children with autism and related developmental disabilities, providing individualized support and care.

Salary: $38,000 - $58,000 per year

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in scheduling. You will work in a center-based setting, using evidence-based practices to provide individualized support and care to our clients.

You will be responsible for assisting our Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts with implementing treatment plans, providing direct client care, and collaborating with our treatment team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with implementing treatment plans developed by our Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts.
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Collaborate with our treatment team, including clients, parents, and caregivers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and practices. You should be able to communicate effectively, work independently, and collaborate with others as part of a team.

A strong candidate will have experience working with children with autism and related developmental disabilities, as well as experience implementing treatment plans and providing direct client care.
