We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN Staff Development Coordinator / CNA Instructor for Clarksburg Healthcare Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting Nurse Aide training classes, developing educational materials, and ensuring compliance with state-mandated training requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing, maintaining all required documentation.
- Develop educational materials, manuals, and teaching aids, and maintain a resource library.
- Coordinate annual State-mandated inservicing for all employees.
- Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA's.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
- Conduct and coordinate skills testing.
- Must possess a current license as a RN in the state where the center is located.
- Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Maintain 'Train The Trainer' certificate for CNA training.
- Prior experience in staff development in long term care desirable.
- Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care center.
