As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures, including connecting to monitoring equipment and verifying patient identification.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including moving tables and gantries, adjusting magnification, and performing fluoroscopy.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including inserting and manipulating guidewires, catheters, and other equipment.
  • Document patient data and ensure accurate completion of procedural reports.
  • Participate in weekend leadership huddles and finalize staffing schedules for the following week.
  • Assist with recruitment, education, and training of technical personnel in the department.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and guidelines, including radiation safety and Joint Commission standards.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with or without the Cardiac-Interventional Radiography-RT (R)(CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography-RT(R)(VI) credentialing from the ARRT.
  • Credentialed by the CCI as a RCIS, RCES, or a CCT.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.
  • High school diploma or GED and a graduate of an education program in Radiologic Science, Cardiovascular Technology, or Practical Nursing.
