Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to developing testing methodologies and formulating testing scores to support SwA tool analysis.
  • Support testing of client software and interface with clients to define recommended remediation.
  • Create reports and documentation to ensure effective communication of results.
  • Utilize and tune source code analysis tools to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Design and test source code SwA analysis processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Interpret and prioritize source code SwA tool results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Perform statistical analysis and reporting on multiple variables in a SwA environment.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively through written reports and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years of experience in systems security engineering, software vulnerability assessment, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools.
  • 3 years of experience designing and testing SwA analysis processes.
  • 3 years of experience interpreting and prioritizing source code SwA tool results.
  • 3 years of experience programming in Python or other scripting languages.
  • 5 years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues.
  • 2 years of experience performing statistical analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technologies such as Klockwork, CodePeer, Fortran-Lint, CodeSonar, Security Fortify, IDA Pro, and MATLAB.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
