We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Team Physician Subcontractor to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a subcontractor, you will play a vital role in providing medical direction and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical direction and oversight to our hospice patients, ensuring continuity of care and management of patient pain and symptoms.
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings, contributing to the development and review of patient care plans.
- Act as a liaison between our organization and community physicians, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives, and continuing education programs.
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree
- Current license in good standing in the state(s) where we provide care
- Board certification in a related specialty (preferred)
- Hospice/palliative experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and contract provisions related to terminal illness certification
- Ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff, patients, and families
As a Hospice Team Physician Subcontractor with Interim HealthCare, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including $175 per hour.
