We are seeking a highly qualified ESOL Educator to join our team at Beaufort County School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to English language learners in a middle school setting.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to support English language learners.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in ESOL education and implement innovative strategies to enhance student learning.

• Valid South Carolina teaching certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Highly Qualified in the content area or ability to become Highly Qualified within 60 days.
• Completed program of study in education from an accredited college or university.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced middle school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues on a regular basis. The ability to work effectively in a diverse setting and maintain confidentiality is essential.
