Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team at Oren Gulasa CPA Services Corp.

Job Summary: As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns using CCH Axcess Tax Software. You will also inform clients or employers on the tax preparation process, collect relevant financial records, and input data into tax return software or databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns using CCH Axcess Tax Software.
• Informing clients or employers on the tax preparation process.
• Collecting relevant financial records, per tax folder using Client Portal.
• Inputting data from financial records into tax return software or databases.
• Using applicable federal, state, and local tax law to prepare the returns.
• Completing and filing tax documents with appropriate agencies, including the IRS, state, and local government entities.
• Acting as a representative for clients with applicable agencies as required.
• Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Fluent English, oral and written skills. Additional language is an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks online.
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess program preferred.
• Outstanding communication and coaching skills.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
