Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with their personal care and activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Review and participate in care reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist residents to and from scheduled programs, promoting socialization and engagement.
- Promote personal choices, independence, and spiritual needs, respecting residents' autonomy.
- Perform laundry duties, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Respond to resident emergency calls, providing timely and effective support.
- Ensure compliance with new care protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Report all resident changes in condition, communicating effectively with the care team.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' personal care information, upholding their trust.
- Honor residents' personal and property rights, respecting their autonomy.
- Be knowledgeable and prepared for emergency situations, ensuring resident safety.
- Wear company uniform and be resident-ready at all times, maintaining a professional image.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a passion for working with seniors.
- Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid preferred, but not required.
- License/Certificate for Medication Assistance (if applicable) as needed per state regulations preferred.
- CPR certification/First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience working with seniors, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support.
- Able to stand or walk 75% of the day, with frequent interruptions.
- Able to work under stress and in emergency situations, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
- Able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping.
- Able to talk and hear effectively, conveying messages, instructions, and information to residents and team members.
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
