Job Overview

The Insurance Customer Service Representative at CPIA, AAI is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing timely and professional support to customers, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing service to existing clients, including policy updates, quotes, payments, and documentation.
  • Handling customer inquiries and concerns via phone and correspondence, including new and existing insurance policies and claims.
  • Collaborating with new clients or producers to understand their needs, gather data, research policy options, and finalize coverage.
  • Setting appointments and reviewing existing policies to explore additional coverage needs and bind renewals.
  • Resolving product or service issues by clarifying concerns, determining causes, and selecting solutions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the agency management system.
  • Working collaboratively with team members, mentoring staff, and participating in meetings as needed.

Requirements include a 440 or 220 license, strong knowledge of insurance products and operations, excellent customer focus, and strong communication and math skills. The ideal candidate will possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex problems without direct supervision.
