About the Role

As a Pediatrics Physician with CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, cost-effective, and values-based patient care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide medical services, contribute to the design and delivery of exceptional patient care, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to meet identified health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment:
    • Obtain comprehensive general health histories from patients.
    • Provide OB/GYN medical services within the scope of licensure, credentialing, and current standard of care.
    • Screen for health risks and promotion needs.
    • Perform comprehensive physical examinations.
    • Identify deviations from normal findings in history and physical examination.
    • Order or perform screening and diagnostic tests based on findings.
  • Diagnosis:
    • Interpret screening and diagnostic tests.
    • Develop and analyze differential diagnoses based on clinical and laboratory data.
    • Diagnose gynecologic, obstetric, female/male reproductive, and sexual health conditions.
  • Management:
    • Develop plans of care based on assessment findings and diagnoses.
    • Provide health promotion/disease prevention education/counseling and anticipatory guidance.
    • Prescribe pharmacologic therapies.
    • Initiate non-pharmacologic therapies.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to meet identified health needs.
  • General:
    • Participate in the development, execution, and review of hospital policies governing services.
    • Participate in committees and performance improvement initiatives.
    • Comply with Hospital policies and procedures, regulatory agency standards.
    Qualifications
    • Graduate from an accredited medical program recognized as license eligible for the Oregon State Medical Board.
    • Current Oregon State Licensure.
    • Current AHA BLS Certification.
    • Certifications as required by Medical Staff Credentialing/Bylaws.
    Salary Information

The estimated hourly salary range is $111.00 - $132.18, depending on experience and qualifications.
