Job Description & Requirements

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide obstetrical services for women and serve as the referral center for High-risk pregnancies for 29 counties in Eastern North Carolina. The region's only level III neonatal intensive care unit is located in the adjacent Children's Hospital. Our Labor and Delivery unit at Vidant Medical Center is committed to family centered care and is a Baby Friendly Hospital. We offer educational and training programs to support the health of women throughout their lifetime.

Required Qualifications
BLS, NRP
NC or compact license
80 mile radius

Preferred Qualifications
EPIC, ACLS

As the flagship hospital of eastern North Carolina's premier healthcare system, this facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care and houses the region's only Level I trauma center.
