About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditure for the account
  • Plan and create menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
  • Produce and execute catering events with precision and attention to detail
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary teams
Requirements
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Catering experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of food and catering trends
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
