Role Overview

The Solutions Architect at Gosvt collaborates with end users and channel partners to create, estimate, and propose audio-visual system solutions. This role is crucial in identifying the most suitable technologies for various opportunities and ensuring adherence to the sales presentation and purchase order processes for the successful initiation of projects.

Our Solutions Architects engage in both presales and sales activities, which is reflected in our competitive compensation structure that includes a solid base salary along with a commission plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with end users and channel partner resources, including Account Managers and Professional Service Managers.
  • Collaborate with clients and partners to design, estimate, and quote AV solutions while maintaining accurate records for forecasting and reporting purposes.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive expertise in developing video conferencing, digital signage, professional audio, and other AV solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, standards-based video conferencing systems, DSP audio, and AV control technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading products such as Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, Harman professional (AMX, SVSi, Crown, JBL, DBX, BSS), and Polycom.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in sales.
  • At least five years of experience in designing professional AV and collaboration solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing a sales portfolio for a minimum of five years.
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL.
