About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients and their families, utilizing your specialized knowledge and skills to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Job Description:

  • Work Environment: Our hospital is a 150-bed facility located in the beautiful city of Missoula, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of patients and cases.
  • Patient Care: You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. Your duties will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and educating patients and families on health and wellness.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Nursing Education: A current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school are required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree is preferred.
  • Clinical Experience: Two to three years of recent Labor and Delivery experience is required, with a focus on critical care and patient safety.
  • Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required upon hire, with ACLS and NRP certification within six months of employment. WHONN FHM and STABLE certifications are also required within one year.
