At CHI Health's Lakeside Hospital, we're seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our medical surgical oncology service line team. As an Oncology Nurse at Lakeside Hospital, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, each with their own unique needs and challenges. You'll collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and provide education to patients and their families.

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on our patients' lives. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing team to devise and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
  • Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals, such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
  • Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits while fostering a supportive and compassionate environment
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • Specialty certification may be required after hire
