We are seeking a Substation Operations Supervisor with expertise in outage sequencing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in substations and demonstrate proficiency in drafting switching orders. Per diem is available for eligible candidates.

Work Hours: 8 AM to 4 PM
Education: High School Diploma
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document Outage Sequence Plans in accordance with team standards.
- Collaborate with CAD Designers to produce outage sequence diagrams.
- Engage with internal and external teams including Engineering, Construction, and Outage Coordination to ensure a practical outage sequence is established.
- Participate in site walkdowns to validate clearance points and assess the feasibility of proposed Outage Sequences.
- Assist the Project Development Manager in scope discussions and create specific checklists for each walkdown with project team support.
- Present outage requests to the Project Management Team, ensuring compliance with PJM outage submission standards.
- Revise outage sequence documents based on requests from Project Managers regarding changes in outage dates and scope.
- Provide insights on construction methods and alternative options when necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables to meet project schedules.
- Document all meetings and discussions related to project constructability.
- Foster relationships with clients and key contacts.
Qualifications:
- Experience Level: Experienced (Minimum 5 years)
- Education: High School Diploma
- Skills: Construction, Outage Sequencing Plans, Substation Construction
