Avante Villa at Jacksonville Beach is currently seeking a dedicated Full-time Floor Maintenance Specialist to support the daily operations of our Maintenance Department. This role is essential in ensuring that our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations to uphold the facility's standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, screens, and elevated areas.
- Adhere to established safety protocols, including Universal Precautions, fire safety, and infection control measures.
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or hazardous conditions to maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure that all tools and supplies are stored properly and that work areas are free from hazards.
- Maintain floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings in a clean and attractive condition, utilizing caution and safety signage as necessary.
- Follow all infection control and sanitation practices while performing housekeeping duties.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Housekeeping/Laundry Services Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of high school education or equivalent, with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- A positive attitude towards the elderly is essential.
