Senior Documentation Manager

Come and be part of a team that provides critical documentation for Amazon's internal software engineering community.

In this role, you'll own the content strategy and documentation that drives the success of Amazon's developers worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the overall content strategy across specific developer tools.
  • Lead the direction for the documentation authoring tools used by writers and software development teams.
  • Collaborate with product teams across multiple locations, including Seattle, Arlington, and Sydney.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a technical writing role.
  • 5+ years' experience writing for a developer or IT operations audience.
  • 5+ years' experience writing code or automation scripts as part of published documentation.
  • 5+ years' experience working on multiple documentation projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with web services and object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with automation scripting frameworks.
