Job Summary

System One is seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team in Latrobe, PA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide daily leadership and guidance to personnel and processes to optimize company goals and objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of parts being produced in the cell and provide leadership to the cell team.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all shop safety rules and housekeeping standards are met.
  • Process Optimization: Coordinate daily cell functions to ensure efficient operation of production equipment and maintain product quality.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate daily with shift personnel and cooperate with Process Technicians on adjacent shifts to provide efficient turnover of operations.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify potential problems with machinery, molds, and process criteria, and recommend repairs using the blue and red tag system.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems contributing to downtime, inefficiency, and scrap.
  • Process Setup and Adjustments: Maintain setup sheets and log process changes on jobs during production, and perform process adjustments, molding techniques, and molding machine operations.
  • Team Development and Motivation: Develop a team spirit with employees and temporary personnel, and motivate each individual to achieve maximum performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
