Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac MRI Tech II to join their team. As a key member of the diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently to execute above-average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations.
  • Engage in research projects and provide direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to CMRI exam standards and guidelines established by regulatory agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
Requirements
  • Three years of MRI experience, with one year specifically in cardiovascular imaging.
  • Required licenses and certifications:
    • RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) OR
    • RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) OR
    • CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Certified (CCI) OR
    • CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) -- If certification held thru NMTCB or ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) OR
    • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -- If certification held thru NMTCB or ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) AND ARRT-MR - Radiologic Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT) OR
    • ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist OR
    • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure
    • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle challenging diagnostic procedures, and exhibit sound judgment while executing clinical skills.
  • Advanced computer knowledge to operate multiple systems, including Hospital Information Systems and reporting/processing systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while delivering excellent customer service.
