Position Summary

VTG is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Solutions Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the program security team, you will engage in comprehensive security measures, including but not limited to the following tasks:
* Provide expertise in the Risk Management Framework to facilitate the security assessment and authorization process for NIST SP HHM systems.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and other necessary artifacts to support the Body of Evidence (BOE) for approval.
* Identify and implement security controls, collaborating with engineering, development, and testing teams to create effective test plans and procedures.
* Conduct security audit reviews to ensure that audit records are systematically collected and analyzed.
* Coordinate security testing activities, liaising with external assessment teams and technical personnel.
* Configure and manage various AWS services to enhance the security posture of the systems.

Qualifications

TS/SCI with Poly Required.

Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience and Skills:
• Ensure the implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Proven experience in obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for systems and navigating the assessment and authorization process.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, AppDetective, WebInspect, and others.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, CNSSI 1253, NIST 800-53, and NISPOM.
• Ability to create and sustain system BOE documentation, including SSPs, architecture diagrams, contingency planning, and continuous monitoring documentation.
• Proficient in writing and modifying standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, and other guidance documents.
• Experience with JIRA and requirements management.
