We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering whole person care to our patients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families to ensure optimal health and well-being.
- Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by authorized healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assist with front office duties, including scheduling tests and appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Participate in in-service presentations and seminars to enhance personal and professional growth.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association required.
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work (exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).
