Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Management Director to join our team. As a Materials Management Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire inventory management process, including managing and coordinating all inventory distribution activities required for timely replenishment of products throughout our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate all inventory distribution activities required for timely replenishment of products throughout the University Health facilities.
  2. Execute inventory management and control strategies to optimize defined inventory stock levels of products and equipment.
  3. Supervise all inventory control staff; administer all par locations and levels; create and implement opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness of the inventory management and control process, and monitor trends to ensure that the right item, is available in the right amount at the right time.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree preferred. Five years supervisory experience in the materials management field required. Six or more years of supervisory experience in the materials management field is preferred. Extensive and successful materials management/supply chain leadership experience within a complex healthcare organization, healthcare GPO experience, or CMRP certification is a plus.
