Position Overview
The Department of Anesthesiology at Mizzou is actively seeking a qualified anesthesiologist with specialized training in pain management. This role is available for all ranks and is structured as a non-tenure track appointment.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and demonstrate a successful history in establishing a profitable chronic pain practice. Candidates will be evaluated for a faculty position based on their academic credentials and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities
Chronic pain specialists will primarily operate within the clinic, focusing on attracting new patients and executing procedures effectively. Collaborative opportunities are available with advanced practice providers to enhance clinic operations.

Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for training anesthesiology residents, ensuring they gain valuable experience in chronic pain management. While occasional anesthesia care coverage is required, it will be managed to ensure it does not hinder the development of a thriving chronic pain practice.

Qualifications
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology
- Eligibility for licensure in Missouri
