Data Center Estimator

Jobot is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing organization and play a critical role in the estimation and planning of data center construction projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid, you will:
- Evaluate and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the total cost, timeline, and resources required.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to management and clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to ensure competitive estimates.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Lead Estimator - Data Centers - Hybrid role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead estimator in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in electrical estimate, risk analysis, project estimating, mechanical estimating, and CSA estimating.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of data center or semiconductor construction projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating, scheduling, and project management tools.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
