About the Role

The Event Manager position is a key role within the Office of Strategic Venues & Event Services at Belmont University. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Event Coordinator team
  • Collaborate with Business Operations to ensure efficient event execution
  • Lead the Client Relations team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work closely with Technical Support to ensure smooth event operations
  • Partner with Business Services to optimize event revenue and profitability
Requirements

  • Experience in event planning and management, preferably in an educational or corporate setting
