About the Role:

As a Quality Assurance Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operational systems, documentation, and service delivery. This includes reviewing and evaluating our processes to ensure compliance with funding source regulations and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of operational systems and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans with the WCQACC Team Lead and Program Director.
  • Provide direct hands-on training to staff and make recommendations for additional training needs.
  • Help programs create and enhance a therapeutic environment.
  • Attend and participate in task force meetings and other agency-wide committees as assigned.
  • Monitor service delivery and availability of needed supports through direct contact with members and staff.
  • Advise direct service staff on appropriate responses to members' needs.
  • Develop criteria for reviewing the delivery of departmental services and make recommendations to ensure they operate using the values and principles of recovery.
  • Ensure the department functions optimally in conjunction with other branches or departments of Thresholds.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to superiors on all topics and issues related to the operation of the agency and the wellbeing of its staff and members.
  • Oversee weekly reporting for submission to IDHS.
  • Document Thresholds and IDHS Quality Indicators across transition.
  • Act as an additional clinical eye and facilitate communication between internal and external treatment providers and supports.

Requirements:

  • Must meet Office of Mental Health Rule 132 credential requirements for a Mental Health Professional (MHP) including a Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or closely related field required.
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or closely related field preferred.
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC) is preferred.
  • Four (4) years of prior direct clinical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated management experience at an appropriate senior level, including establishing, leading and managing large teams and resources.
