Yard Laborer

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Yard Laborer - Equipment Technician to join our team at Sunstate Equipment Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance of our equipment fleet.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
• Yard Operations: Assist in the daily operations of the yard, including receiving and dispatching equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and ensure that all equipment is properly tagged and marked for identification.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the management of inventory levels, including receiving and storing equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and valid certifications in welding and forklift operation.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in temperature and humidity.
