Job Title: Architectural Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an Architectural Fabricator. This role will involve assisting in the creation of architectural structures, accessories, and catalog pieces for our Life Forms Fabrications subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a variety of materials, including wood, metals, and occasionally fiberglass and concrete
  • Read and interpret scale drawings and blueprints for construction
  • Perform metalworking tasks, including welding, cutting, drilling, bending, sandblasting, finishing, and painting
  • Operate CNC wood and metal routing machinery, plasma tables, or press brakes
  • Conduct woodworking operations, such as sawing, shaping, sanding, gluing, and finishing
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, CNC design software, and material estimating
Requirements
  • Experience in metalworking and woodworking fields
  • Certification in welding is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and design software
  • Knowledge of exterior applications of wood, metals, and composites
  • Ability to work on design, fabrication, and cost estimation
