Warehouse Material Handler Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems.
  • Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Benefits:

  • Hourly pay $21.00 per hour.
  • Overtime pay $31.50 per hour.
  • Additional pay $1.00 per hour for second shift assignments.
