Job Summary:The Critical Care Nurse will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
- 2 years of ICU experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Cerner experience.
- Locals ok (75 miles is local rate).
3x12s, every other weekend. Additional details: Government-Issued photo ID required. Color or B&W acceptable. Must be clear and legible. Back of card only required if it contains pertinent information. Refer to UD/cost center to confirm certifications required per unit. National Certification/Verification as applicable by Profession and State.
