Nurse Resident Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Resident. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive Nurse Residency Training Program, which will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in your nursing career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in the Nurse Residency Program and engage in ongoing education and training
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an assigned or cross-trained unit, utilizing nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Monitor patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify providers of changes in condition or response to treatments and medications
  • Fulfill other duties and educational requirements as assigned or required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Current RN license with State of Colorado Board of Nursing
  • BLS required; ALS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
  • Other certifications may be required within 6 months of hire
