The selected candidate will engage in planning, programming, budgeting, funding execution, and accounting for various operations. The role involves conducting in-depth analyses of cost baselines and implementing strategies to monitor and track financial changes effectively. Additionally, the analyst will assist in identifying urgent needs and evaluating execution data to address program delays, revenue streams, and reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily ledger operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

• Analyze financial outcomes and assess their impact on the resources allocated to the program.

• Monitor and report on environmental liabilities.

• Utilize accounting principles to address challenges and provide informed recommendations.

• Support data collection efforts and analyze relevant information.

Essential Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Experience with DoD/Army resource management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Certification as a Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or equivalent DoD Financial Management Certification.
Experience Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience with financial processes and databases.
Desirable Experience:
  • 5 years of relevant resource management experience within Army or DoD Service level environments.
  • Familiarity with Army/DoD financial management systems, including:
    • Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS)
    • Program Budget Allocation System (PBAS)
    • SF 133, Report on Budget Execution and Budgetary Resources
    • Integrated Resource Management Information System (IRMIS)
    • Standard Finance System (STANFINS)
    • Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS)
