Job Description

As a Lead Maintenance Technician - Infrastructure Management, you will provide leadership and direct supervision of maintenance crews while performing daily work activities of maintaining contracted assets. You will be responsible for maintenance, servicing, and repairs of roads and other infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train, direct, and coordinate the work of crews to perform maintenance activities based on local work plans.
  • Assist in making recommendations by monitoring employee performance for coaching, rewards, and disciplining employees.
  • Direct and coordinate local emergency response and respond as needed to road closures or incidents.
  • Create safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setting up and removing traffic control devices.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair of structures and equipment rooms, including portals, railings, expansion joints, doors, and painting as required.
  • Repair and maintain functionality of roadway catch basins, sumps, and pumps, fire hydrants, and other mechanical assets.
  • Repair and maintain basic electrical systems, including emergency telephones, CCTV systems, electronic traffic signs, call boxes, lane signals, and lighting.
  • Transport crew and equipment to work sites operating large trucks and specialized motor vehicles and trailers.
  • Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED (Required)
  • One (1) year work experience in infrastructure, maintenance, and repair (Preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required to drive a company vehicle.
  • CDL, DOT certifications, Electrical and Welding Certifications (Highly Desirable)
Work Environment

The employee is regularly exposed to traffic and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
